Welcome

The Dragon Age Lexicon (or Lex for short) is an unofficial wiki dedicated to everything associated with Dragon Age Scripting.

Over time Lex will grow to include a wealth information and tutorials on the dascript language, the Script Editor, the Compiler and the Virtual Machine. Lex's raison d'etre is to be an accurate, reliable and well-organised encyclopaedia for Dragon Age Scripting. He won't be able to do it alone so when we're ready we'll explain our philosophy and the ways in which you can contribute!

That said, and even though Lex is still in only an infant, there is already a page for every native function, every native constant and most of the keywords in the Reference section. However in time the project Road Map (so you can see where Lex is going and how he'll get there); the first tutorials (including a ubiquitous "Hello World") and information on operators, directive, statements, expressions, core libraries, etc. will all start to appear.

Once more content has been produced the Launch Pad will get you directly to information you need or that may interest you. Whether you are a complete beginner taking your first tentative steps; an experienced Neverwinter Nights scripter making jump to Dragon Age or a veteran Dragon Age scripter seeking an obscure factoid Lex is there to help you.

There is also a Dragon Age Lexicon Group on BioWare's community site if you want to drop by and discuss anything.
